Francis is the Chief Executive Officer of aYo Intermediaries Ghana Limited (a microinsurance provider), a joint venture between MTN and Sanlam.

In this role, Francis has overseen the growth of the business from a start-up to a growing fintech that provides affordable, easy-to-use insurance solutions to more than 4.5 million Ghanaians.

Francis is an experienced life insurance and actuarial professional with a demonstrated history of building a setup life insurance business to profitability. Skilled in Operations Management, Strategy planning, Analytics, Business Development, Actuarial Services, and Conceptual Modeling.

Before joining aYo Intermediaries Ghana Limited, Francis was Business Service Manager at Saham Life Insurance Ghana, where he was responsible for the company’s technical operations. He was previously Head of Underwriting at Colina Life (Now Saham Life Insurance), and an Actuarial Analyst at the National Insurance Commission.

Francis holds an Honours degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Coast and an Executive MBA from the University of Ghana. He is an active member of several industry bodies, including the Microinsurance Network, the Access to Insurance Initiative (A2ii), Actuarial Society of Ghana, Actuaries Without Borders, and the International Actuarial Association.
